Fusing the ancient art of traditional Japanese drumming with the beats of world and rock rhythms, this dynamic percussion ensemble dazzles family audiences with the power and beauty of taiko. Founded by 2011 National Heritage Fellows Roy and PJ Hirabayashi, San Jose Taiko was one of the first American based taiko groups to be invited to perform in Japan.
